Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you cover?

We cover both a range of areas within Essex and Hertfordshire. This includes; Stansted Mountfitchet, Bishops Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Harlow, Great Dunmow, Braintree, Saffron Walden, and surrounding towns/villages. If you live outside of this area or are unsure if you're within our catchment, please get in contact and we will do our best to accommodate you.

What are your COVID-19 guidelines?

We are committed to keeping our clients safe and therefore have put the following process in place for each appointment: -Upon arrival we will call you, and leave a biothane lead on your doorstep for you to attach to your dogs collar or harness. This lead will be thoroughly disinfected before and after each contact. -We can then discuss details regarding your dog's grooming requirements. We will wear a mask. -We will use an additional biothane slip lead and welcome your dog into our van and complete the groom. -Once the groom is complete, we call you and carry out a similar handover process to arrival. -We offer both contactless, card or cash payments. If yourself or anyone in your household are showing symptoms or test positive for COVID-19, please get in contact to cancel and reschedule your appointment.

Why use a mobile dog grooming service?

We come to you, which means we can fit into your busy schedule and alleviate any stresses of bringing your dog into a high street grooming salon. Your dog will have a one to one experience with the groomer, with no other dogs present and no waiting in a crate. Rest assured your dog will see the same groomer on each appointment to enable a relationship to be made, reducing stress for your pet. All we need is a driveway, or a nearby legal space to park.

How often should I have my dog groomed?

On average, your dog should be groomed every 6-8 weeks. However, this varies dependant on your dog's coat type and lifestyle. We can advise on the best grooming schedule suited for your pet. A well groomed dog boosts cleanliness, health, appearance and socialisation. Delayed grooms can result in matted fur and skin irritations which may lead to stress and veterinary treatment.

What is a Hydrobath, and what are the benefits?

A Hydrobath mixes both warm water with our natural conditioning shampoo. Your dog will receive a combination of a relaxing dog bath, and luxurious shower. The powerful pump system enables the shower head to penetrate directly into your dogs coat which is proven to massage and stimulate the skin, remove dead skin cells, aid blood circulation and relieve tired muscles.
